Application Process
Participants begin the application process by submitting an
inquiry through our website or contacting the MedPath Abroad team
directly.
The application process typically includes:
- Submission of an application form
- Supporting documentation

An informational consultation with a MedPath Abroad
representative
- Review of eligibility requirements
- Placement confirmation based on availability
Applications are reviewed individually to ensure the program is a
good fit for both the participant and our partner healthcare
institutions.
Acceptance
Acceptance into a MedPath Abroad program is subject to:
- Meeting all eligibility requirements
- Availability at the requested placement

Approval from the relevant partner healthcare institution (when
applicable)
Once accepted, participants will receive written confirmation
together with their program details and payment instructions.
A placement is considered officially reserved only after the
required deposit has been received.
Payment Policy
To secure a placement, participants are required to pay a
non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total program fee upon
acceptance.
The remaining balance is payable upon arrival in Cusco, Peru,
during the program orientation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment instructions and accepted payment methods will be provided
during the enrollment process.
Failure to make payments according to the agreed schedule may
result in cancellation of the reserved placement.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Participants wishing to cancel their program must notify MedPath
Abroad in writing as soon as possible.
The following refund policy applies:

More than 60 days before the program start date:
Participants will receive a full refund of all payments made,
excluding the non-refundable 40% deposit.

Between 30 and 59 days before the program start date:
Participants will receive a 50% refund of any program fees paid
beyond the non-refundable deposit.

Less than 30 days before the program start date:
No refunds will be issued.
The non-refundable deposit covers administrative work, placement
coordination, communication with partner healthcare institutions,
and other operational expenses incurred after a participant's
acceptance.
Visa Refusal & Medical Emergencies
MedPath Abroad understands that unforeseen circumstances may
arise.
If a participant is unable to attend due to a visa refusal or a
documented medical emergency, we encourage them to contact us as
soon as possible.
Whenever feasible, MedPath Abroad will work with the participant
to postpone the program to a future available intake.
Each request will be reviewed individually, and supporting
documentation may be required.
Program Changes
Although every effort is made to deliver each program as planned,
MedPath Abroad reserves the right to modify program dates,
schedules, accommodation arrangements, or placement assignments
when necessary.
If a partner healthcare institution becomes unavailable, MedPath
Abroad will make every reasonable effort to arrange an equivalent
placement that provides a comparable educational experience.
If an equivalent placement cannot be arranged, participants may
choose to postpone their participation or receive a refund of any
applicable program fees, excluding the non-refundable deposit
where administrative services have already been provided.
Force Majeure
MedPath Abroad shall not be held responsible for delays,
cancellations, or program modifications resulting from events
beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to
natural disasters, public health emergencies, government
restrictions, political instability, transportation disruptions,
or other force majeure events.
In these situations, MedPath Abroad will make every reasonable
effort to offer alternative program dates, placement options, or
other appropriate solutions whenever possible.
